As part of World Travel Market's Ministers' Programme, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) works in partnership with World Travel Market to host the UNWTO & WTM Ministers
The 2011 summit, chaired by Keith Bellows, Editor-in-Chief, National Georgraphic Traveler Magazine, focused on:
- The role of emerging markets
- The impact of fiscal consolidation and increased taxation in European tourism
- The future of tourism in the Middle East and North Africa
- The role and importance of governments and tourism public policies after the crisis
