Tourism must play to its international strengths, demonstrating flexibility, innovation and supreme business sense in a tough operational climate.
The UNWTO’s Roadmap for Recovery proved convincingly that those countries quick to react by implementing measures to counter the worst ravages of the crisis, achieved better results.
Assisted by a team of high-level experts from the public and private sector, the Summit will formulate best practices to stimulate sustainable tourism for future business models and public policies.
Key issues will include:
- Raising the political and economic recognition of tourism
- Creating a more competitive business environment
- Stimulating innovation, investment and sustainable growth
