What is World Travel Market?
Staged annually in London, World Travel Market, The Leading Global Event for the Travel Industry, is a vibrant must-attend four day business-to-business event presenting a diverse range of destinations and industry sectors to UK and International travel professionals. It is a unique opportunity for the whole global travel trade to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business under one roof. By attending World Travel Market, participants efficiently, effectively and productively gain immediate competitive advantage for their business and stay abreast with the latest developments in the travel industry.

World Travel Market 2011 takes place on Monday 7 - Thursday 10 November at ExCeL - London.

Who can attend World Travel Market?
World Travel Market has a strict admission policy and is open to travel industry professionals only.

PLEASE NOTE: World Travel Market is a trade event and NOT open to the general public.

No-one under the age of 16 will be admitted to World Travel Market.

PLEASE NOTE: Deliveries to exhibition stands must be made during the tenancy of the event (for WTM this is one week prior to the opening day), clearly labelled with a contact name and stand number.

Where is ExCeL London located?
ExCeL London is located in London's Docklands to the east of London, close to Canary Wharf. It is linked to the London Underground network via the Docklands Light Railway (DLR).

Do I require a visa to enter into the UK and how do I obtain one?
If you are a non-British national or not a citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA) countries, you must be in possession of a valid visa in order to enter the UK and attend WTM.
The organisers of World Travel Market regret that they are not able to send out letters of invitation for visitors from overseas to help secure visas. If your business is relevant to World Travel Market you will be able to prove this to the British Embassy in your country by providing proof of your employment and the nature of your employer's business. Please do not contact the organisers, as all requests for letters of invitation will be denied.

Visiting World Travel Market

Do visitors need to register to attend World Travel Market?
All visitors must register to attend WTM. By registering in advance, visitors will receive a free badge for fast track entry into the event. Visitors who do not pre-register will be charged an admission fee. Register now Register now

What happens if I don't register?
If you do not register in advance of the event, you will need to register upon arrival at ExCeL - London and will be charged an admission fee to enter WTM.

Can students attend World Travel Market?
Student attendance is restricted to Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 November. Please note all student parties must be registered at a cost of £25.00 pp + Vat and be accompanied by a tutor. Register now Register now

How do I access the WTM Exhibitor Zone?
The WTM Exhibitor Zone will be available from April 2011. Only contracted exhibitors can access the WTM Exhibitor Zone. Your stand co-ordinator will be sent a username and password by email once your contract is issued. If you require assistance or confirmation of these details, contact the Exhibitor Helpline. Please note - you will be asked to verify your identity.

How do I obtain WTM Exhibitor Manual?
Exhibitor Manual will be available to view and download from the WTM Exhibitor Zone from June 2011. Stand contractors should contact their main standholder for details.

When can exhibitors access the venue?
Registered exhibitors are able to access the halls during the following times:

Build: Wednesday 2 - Sunday 6 November: 08.00 - 18.00
Event: Monday 7 - Wednesday 9 November: 08.00 -18.00, Thursday 10 November: 08.00 - 17.00
Breakdown: Thursday 10 November: 18.00 - 19.00, Friday 11 - Saturday 12 November: 08.00 - 18.00, Sunday 13 November: 08.00 - 14.00

How do I obtain an Exhibitor PR badge?
Main standholders are responsible for registering their PR representative's badges through the WTM Exhibitor Zone. If you are an exhibitor's PR representative please contact the exhibitor you are representing.

Can I book a room at World Travel Market for a private function?
WTM Exhibitors wishing to book a room should contact Amy Francis.

What is Meridian Club?
World Travel Market recognises the importance of senior buyers within the travel industry by awarding them membership to Meridian Club. This enables buyers to optimise their time spent at the event through a range of pre-event and onsite benefits that allow them to accurately identify, network and do business with both existing and potential exhibiting suppliers.

Who are the Meridian Club members?
Meridian Club membership is exclusively reserved for travel professionals who are responsible for the purchase of travel-related products and services. Meridian Club members are identified and pre-qualified in their registration.

Do press need to register to attend World Travel Market?
All members of the media must be registered to gain free admission to WTM. By registering in advance, you will receive your badge giving you fast track entry into the event. Your press badge will also give you access to the WTM International Press Centre.

Who should register as a member of the press?
Press registration is open to journalists, broadcasters or publishers. Advertising personnel and media sales reps do not qualify for a press badge. Please note: members of the press may be required to provide press accreditation to validate their registration.

What and where is the International Press Centre?
The WTM International Press Centre is an exclusive area for registered media located in the Platinum Suites Level 2. It aims to make the most of their visit to the event by offering complimentary services including computers with internet facilities, high speed laptop connection points, radio booths, photocopy, fax and printers.

In advance of the event all WTM generated reports, press releases and photography is available online within the media & PR area of the website.

How do I hold a press conference at World Travel Market?
Press Conferences are held in the International Press Centre at ExCeL - London. Exhibitors who are interested in booking a press conference room should contact Nicole Collett.
