Responsible Tourism
WTM World Responsible Tourism Day (WRTD), in association with the UNWTO, has highlighted the commercial as well as the socio-economic value of responsible tourism.
Airlines
WTM 2010 saw a stellar line-up of senior executives from leading low-cost airlines, national flag carriers and airport operators. If you work in the aviation industry then the WTM 2011 is not to be missed.
Travel Agents
The WTM Travel Agents’ Programme supported by and in association with ITT, ABTA, CTO, PATA and UKInbound offered a comprehensive series of educational seminars and fun entertainment for agents.
Hotels
The WTM 2011 Hotel Programme was dedicated to buyers and managers from the Hotel Industry providing insights into the sectors key issues.
Cruise
The WTM Cruise Programme gave advice and guidance on how to increase cruise sales and explores the cruise industry and its future.
Luxury
The WTM Luxury programme provided insight into the sector and as well as providing the opportunity for suppliers and buyers to network with each other to further their business plans.
Emerging Markets
Almost half (47%) of the travel industry see emerging markets - including BRIC economies (Brazil, Russia, India, China) - as one of the biggest growth opportunities in travel.
