Since joining MSC Cruises in 2008 as Managing Director for UK and Ireland, Giulio has completely re-shaped and re-focused MSC Cruises UK and Ireland office. Giulio changed the office structure position and roles by building up an efficient team that has established new and strong relationships with groups and the travel trade. As a result, MSC Cruises introduced a scheme called preferred partners, which works closely with the main players of the cruise market. Giulio has introduced successful promotions such as the second passenger pays £1 which saw MSC Cruises UK & Ireland Sales performance double year on year and improved MSC Cruises brand awareness among travel agents. 

 

Giulio is a highly regarded professional who has an impressive track record within the travel industry where he has held a variety of senior positions including senior vice president for AlItalia in North America and Mexico. His career has touched nearly every aspect of the market; he has overseen airline mergers, re-engineered the North and South American commercial organisation of a major airline and re-launched an airline brand.
