Job Title: CEO Company Name: Seychelles Tourism Board Alain St. Ange was born in Seychelles on 24th October 1954. He married Ginette Michel in 1980 and has two daughters, Christine and Michelle. Alain St. Ange studied Hotel Management and Tourism in Germany and France and has worked in hotels and restaurants in Seychelles, the Channel Islands and Australia. He is currently the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, working directly under President James Michel who personally holds the portfolio for tourism. In 1991 he published the Seychelles political book, ‘Seychelles, What Next?’ and co-published in 2005 the ‘Constitutional and Political History of Seychelles’, ‘Seychelles in search of a democracy’, and, in 2007, his second political history, ‘Seychelles, the cry of a people’. In 2010 he published a book on the Seychelles Annual Regatta entitled, ‘Seychelles, the 2010 Regatta.’ His latest book is the 2011 ‘Seychelles enters the World of Carnival.’ |
