London Oyster & Travel Cards

WTM partners with Visit Britain to offer savings whilst travelling around London with the London Oyster card and Travel cards.

Which is best?
If you are staying in London for up to 7 days and wanted to travel throughout zones 1-2 or 1-6 (including National Rail services) Travelcards are the best value. If you are in London and only travelling in and out of central London to Excel London each day and around the west end in the evening, the Oyster card is better value.

Oyster card
Oyster cards are pre-loaded with a minimum of £10 worth of credit for pay as you go travel.

Pay as you go has several advantages over paper tickets:

Oyster fares are generally cheaper
Credit can be used as you need it and doesn't expire
Daily price capping automatically calculates the cheapest fare for all the journeys you make in a single day
The cards can be used on the tube, DLR, London Overground, bus, tram and some National Rail Services

Travel cards
1-day and 7-day Travelcards are available for travel at any time, including peak periods, and are valid for travel in zone 1-2 or 1-6. Please note, Travelcards are not valid on Airport Express Train services.
